The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is a government-owned not-for-profit company established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. NDRMF provides grant financing for projects that contribute to enhancing Pakistan’s resilience to climate and other natural hazards and strengthen the government’s ability to respond quickly to disasters triggered by natural hazards. NDRMF seeks the services of vibrant and qualified professionals for the following Islamabad-based position on a six-month contract with the possibility of further extension:
Available Positions
1. GIS Developer / Modeling Expert – NatCat Data Center
- Number of Positions: 1
- Required Qualification & Experience:
- Qualification: BS/MS in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, GIS Development, and programming or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum two years of post-graduation experience with demonstrated hands-on experience in the development of minimum five landmark national and international projects of similar nature. Advanced visualization skills in developing data-driven interactive visualizations for the web-based applications using WebGIS technologies such as JavaScript libraries (e.g., Node, Leaflet, Open Layers, etc.), D3.js, Chart.js.
- Other Requirements: Proficiency in data visualization tools.
