Looking at specific demographic groups, USAA proved to be the cheapest for drivers of any age or gender. USAA also demonstrated lower than average rates for drivers with a single accident or DUI on their record, and for those with poor credit.
For some of these groups, compared to the national average, the savings can be $1,000 to $2,000 per year, including teenage drivers and drivers with poor credit history.
