Its essential components include hospital-based tertiary eye care services, community-based blindness prevention programs, need-based human resource development, promoting basic and applied research in ophthalmology, and appropriate and affordable technology.

It invites applications to recruit Ophthalmologists, Medical Officer, Optometrists, Ophthalmic Technician, Nursing Assistant, Manager Admin, Driver, and Security Guard. These posts are opening in Gilgit.
Interested persons with qualifications such as an FCPS, BSN, BSc, General Nursing Diploma, MS, BS, and MBBS with previous experience in the same disciplines are eligible for this appointment.
