Available Positions
1. Medical Branch (Psychiatrist) (SPSSC)
- Rank: Squadron Leader
- Age on November 1, 2024: 29-38 years
- Training Period: 24 weeks
- Qualification:
- MBBS with a minimum 2nd Division or equivalent and specialization in Psychiatry from a Pakistani or foreign medical college/university recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC)/PMC.
- Additional Requirement: Psychiatrist with FCPS/FRCP/MRCP/MRCS/Diplomate of American Board
2. Medical Branch (GDMOs) (SPSSC)
- Rank: Flight Lieutenant
- Age on November 1, 2024: 24-28 years
- Training Period: 24 weeks
- Qualification:
- MBBS with a minimum 2nd Division or equivalent from a Pakistani or foreign medical college/university recognized by the PMDC/PMC, having completed a one-year house job in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC. Preference will be given to those with relevant field experience after house job.
3. Medical Branch (Dental Surgeon) (SPSSC)
- Rank: Flight Lieutenant
- Age on November 1, 2024: 23-28 years
- Training Period: 24 weeks
- Qualification:
- BDS with a minimum 2nd Division or equivalent from a Pakistani or foreign medical college/university recognized by the PMDC/PMC, having completed a one-year house job in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC. Preference will be given to those with relevant field experience after house job.
Selection Procedure
- Online Registration: Register online at www.joinpaf.gov.pk
- Intelligence Test: Followed by an academic test in relevant subjects at respective I&S Centers.
- Initial Medical Examination and Interview: Conducted at I&S Centers.
- Psychological Test: For shortlisted candidates only.
- Interview: By First AHQ Special Selection Board.
- Final Medical Examination: Conducted at CMB, Lahore.
- Interview: By Second AHQ Special Selection Board.
- Final Selection: By AHQ in order of merit.

Ineligibility Conditions
- Rejected by ISSB/ GHQ/ NHQ/ AHQ selection boards or twice rejected by ISSB for Post Graduate Entry.

- Convicted by a court of law for an offense involving moral turpitude.
- Dismissed/removed/debarred from Government Service.
- Having dual nationality or married to a foreign national.
